Structural CAD Technician/Designer – Houston, TX

Tri-Tech is currently seeking a Structural CAD Technician to join our engineering team. Main responsibilities will be to design and/or draft foundation and framing plans (and details) of wood, steel and concrete structures such as production builder homes, custom homes and light commercial buildings.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

• 1-3 years of experience

• Structural CAD experience is a must

• Proficient in AutoCAD or related programs

• Familiar with Revit

• Be able to review and interpret architectural drawings

• Work closely with engineers and managers to obtain project information and ensure drawings are accurate and complete

• Self-Starter

• Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team with direction from Engineers/Project Managers

• Must have the ability to learn and adapt according to work load
