Facilities Maintenance Technician – Houston, TX

We are currently seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. If you are skilled in general facilities maintenance with a strong mechanical aptitude, we want to hear from you.

Under general supervision, this position performs a variety of repair and maintenance tasks for our 25,000 sq. ft. office and 3,500 sq. ft. warehouse facility. Occasional evening, weekend, and holiday work may be required in meeting position responsibilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Repair, maintain and monitor all equipment and facilities.
  • Schedule routine maintenance
  • Minor facilities upkeep (replace lightbulbs, change ceiling tiles, etc.)
• Manage repairs and maintenance on various vehicles
  • Experience with classic cars a plus
• Assist as needed with daily/weekly cleaning of assigned areas, including trash removal and recycling.
• Assists with special event logistics such as setting up and breaking down tables, chairs, tents.
• Occasional forklift operation
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• Two years working experience in facility maintenance
• Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry
• Must be proficient in automotive repairs
• Follow oral and written instructions
• Strong communication skills
• Self-starter with good time management skills
• Trustworthy and dependable
• Valid and Current Driver’s License
